Blair (Driver/Owner)

A 15 year veteran of successful international competition in kart racing, is no stranger to victory lane. Winning many kart championships in amateur racing, Blair retired from Pro Kart racing in 1997 where upon his retirement, had just capped a six year series winning streak in the Formula 125 Pro Kart Series where he was champion six out of seven years.In 2008 and his first full year in full size open-wheel racing he broke track records at every track in the WCMA championship and won 32 of the 33 races he entered. Crowned 2008 Western Canadian Motorsport Association Formula Continental Series Champion.

Jes (Suspension/Tires)

Jes has spent over 20 years in karting and other motorsports. Having worked with Blair for many years in karting, Jes continues to support Blair in Formula Car Racing and the pursuit of victory. Jes specializes in one of the most important facets of car racing, Tire Management and Suspension setup. He literally is where the rubber meets the road.

 

Miles-Full

Myles (Data Systems/Fuel Management /On Board Video)

Myles has spent 17 years associated to motorsports and brings a great deal of knowledge and temperance to the team. He specializes in Media and Data Acquisition Systems. The team generates several Gigabytes of data each race and test day. Collecting and analyzing data is a huge responsibility for Myles on behalf of the team and plays a major part in the software development work performed by the team for Pi Research Cosworth.

 

Jessie-Full

Jesse (Technical Assistant/Gearbox)

Jesse is a new arrival to the team. He assists in many of the mechanical and technical operations. Equally valuable in the shop operation, race car preparation, track day tire and gearbox work.

 

 

 Garry (Race Car Technician / Engine Vitals / Data)

a new team member, Garry has experienced the challenge of racing and more recently team leader on the SAIT Baja project car. With mechanical ability and a keen sense of “knowing”, Garry assists in all facets of race car prep, chassis set up and data collection and maintenance.

 

 

Nathan (Race Car Technician / Aero Settings) 

A new member to the team, Nathan has little background with race cars however his work ethic, excitement and zeal for the sport make him a valuable member of the team. Always busy doing something in the pit, Nathan seems to have a knack for getting things done in an expeditous manner as well as performing nut bolt checks on the car following every outing

 

Shawn (Data Acquisition / Interpretation / Chassis Dynamics and Setup)

A new member of the team, Shawn is currently enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering faculty at the U of C. Recently completing the Claude Rouelle OPTIMUM G Chassis Dynamics course in Indianapolis gives Shawn the required knowledge to pursue data collection, interpretation, application of data interpretation and race car dynamics to the race car. 

 

Matt (Race Car Technician / Race Car Set Up)

Also a new team member,recent graduate of the Claude Rouelle OPTIMUM G course and also at the U of C in Mechanical Engineering, Matt brings a good level of mechanical aptitude to the team paired with a high level of excitement and enthusiasm which bodes well in the team matrix.
